It is your responsibility.  Do not sign the freight papers until you have inspected the products being delivered.  Do not be rushed by the freight company.  Take your time.  If there is freight damage and you do not sign for it, there will be no warranty.  You must sign the freight papers damaged.  

The freight companies require this to be followed.
